Each door opens only part of the cabinet, so more of the cold stays put while it holds 1°C to 8°C on nine adjustable shelves. It draws 3 A at full load on a standard 10 amp plug and uses the same 3.84 kWh per 24 hours that Turbo Air lists for the three-door KR65-3-N.

Key features:

Six solid half doors, top and bottom across the three sections of the cabinet

1868 litres on 9 adjustable heavy-duty (50 kg) PE-coated wire shelves

1°C to 8°C with fan cooling for even temperatures across the full width

Digital temperature control and monitor system

Turbo Cooling & Freeze runs the compressor continuously for up to two hours after restocking

Patented self-cleaning condenser, brushed automatically 2 to 3 times a day

Top-mounted refrigeration unit with a 1/2 HP compressor and R290 natural refrigerant

Stainless steel exterior and interior, with recessed handles and magnetic gaskets on all six doors

Condensate system means no extra drain; on castors

Specifications:

Model: Turbo Air KR65-6-N (catalogue code KR65-6(HC))

Capacity: 1868 litres

Dimensions: 1900 W x 860 D x 1926 H mm (height includes castors)

Weight: 167 kg

Temperature range: 1°C to 8°C

Refrigerant: R290 (hydrocarbon)

Compressor: 1/2 HP

Power: 450 W, 3 A full load, 220–240 V 50 Hz single phase, 10 amp plug

Energy use: 3.84 kWh per 24 hours (about 1402 kWh a year)

Doors: 6 solid half doors

Shelves: 9 adjustable PE-coated wire shelves

Cooling and control: fan cooling, digital temperature control

Insulation: high-density, CFC-free polyurethane (cyclopentane)

Construction: stainless steel exterior and interior

Good to know before you buy:

Access: 1900 mm long, 1926 mm high on castors and 167 kg, with a depth Turbo Air quotes as 860 mm (850 mm in its price list).
