About Us

Refrigeration Experts is an Australian online store for commercial refrigeration and hospitality equipment. We started the business in August 2022, backed by 20 years' experience in the industry, with one aim: sell equipment online, keep our overheads low and pass the savings on to you, so you can get high-quality equipment without paying a premium for it.

Why we're online only

A showroom, retail rent and a big sales team all end up in the price you pay for equipment. We don't have those costs. There's no showroom or pickup: you order online, and your equipment is dispatched from Australian warehouses straight to your business. That keeps our prices low. If you do find the same item cheaper elsewhere, send us the link or quote under our Price-Beat Guarantee and we'll give you a discount code or invoice you at the better price.

How buying from us works

1. Order online or by invoice. Product pages show the price excluding and including GST. Pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay, choose Bank Deposit at checkout to pay by direct bank transfer with no card needed, or spread the cost with SilverChef Rent-Try-Buy finance. Prefer an invoice? Contact us with what you need and we'll send you one.
2. We confirm stock and freight. Card payments are held, not taken, while we check stock with the supplier and book your freight. The freight shown at checkout is a maximum. We'll contact you with the actual cost, which is often less, and check you're happy to go ahead before we dispatch. If you chose bank transfer, we'll email you the final total to pay and dispatch once it has cleared.
3. Delivered to your door. In-stock items usually leave within 48 hours and arrive by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, typically in 2 to 5 business days to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide. See our delivery details for other areas.
4. Backed by the manufacturer's warranty. If something goes wrong, contact us and we'll arrange the claim with the manufacturer or their service agent. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply.

What we don't do

We sell equipment only. We don't install, repair or service it. Gas appliances must be connected by a licensed gas fitter, and hard-wired or three-phase equipment by a licensed electrician, so check the power requirements and dimensions on the product page before you order.
