How to choose a bar freezer
Size and fit
Bar freezers are designed to sit under a counter. The Atosa MBC24F and MBC24FG are 605mm wide, 635mm deep and 785mm high, and the Thermaster DC-80F is an 80 litre compact unit with three easy-slide baskets. Measure the space under your bar, including the height, before you order.
Build and features
The Atosa freezer cabinets have 304 grade stainless steel inside and out, fan-cooled ventilation, LED lighting, a lockable door and a digital temperature display, and are rated for 43°C ambient. The Thermaster DC-80F is a lower-cost option with simple manual controls and a -18°C to -10°C range; it needs manual defrosting.
Ventilation
If the freezer will be built in under the bar, leave the ventilation gap shown in the manual so the compressor does not overheat.

Bar freezer FAQs
Can I use a bar freezer to frost glasses?
Yes. A bar freezer is ideal for frosting beer glasses and cocktail coupes. Make sure glasses are dry before they go in, so they frost evenly.
What is the difference between a bar freezer and a bar fridge?
A bar fridge chills drinks to around 2°C to 8°C. A bar freezer runs well below zero, for glasses, ice cream and frozen ingredients.
Do you deliver Australia-wide?
Yes. We deliver to every state by tailgate truck. Standard delivery is to your door.
