Why use a dedicated wine fridge?
A standard drinks fridge runs at 2°C to 8°C, which is too cold for red wine and dulls the flavour of good whites. A wine fridge holds warmer, steadier temperatures, with gentle cooling and wooden shelves that cradle bottles on their side so corks stay moist. It also looks the part on a restaurant floor or behind the bar.
Single zone vs dual zone
A dual zone wine fridge has two separately controlled compartments. On our Atosa models the upper zone runs from 4°C to 12°C for whites, rose and Champagne, and the lower zone from 12°C to 22°C for reds. That lets you serve both from the one cabinet.
How to choose a wine fridge
Bottle capacity
The Atosa SC-145 WD holds up to 46 bottles (128 litres) and the SC-430 WD holds up to 154 bottles (420 litres). Count the bottles you keep ready to pour, not your whole cellar, and allow for larger bottles like Champagne taking extra space.
Under bench or upright?
The SC-145 WD is an under bench wine fridge with adjustable height from 820mm to 870mm, so it fits under most counters. The SC-430 WD is a full upright for restaurants with a bigger wine list.
Noise, lighting and finish
On a restaurant floor a quiet wine fridge matters; the SC-145 WD runs at 39 dB. A black finish and glass door show off your range, and beech wood shelves hold standard 750ml Bordeaux bottles.

Wine fridge FAQs
Can I store wine in a normal bar fridge?
For a quick chill, yes, but a bar fridge is too cold for reds and too dry and cold for long-term storage. A dual zone wine fridge keeps both reds and whites at serving temperature.
How many bottles do I need?
Most cafes and small restaurants are well served by a 46 bottle under bench model. Venues with a full wine list usually choose a 150 bottle plus upright.
Do you deliver Australia-wide?
Yes. We deliver to every state by tailgate truck. Standard delivery is to your door.
