What a cooking robot does
A cooking robot is an automatic wok station. You load prepared ingredients into its feeder trays, choose a recipe on the touchscreen, and the machine heats the pot, stirs, and adds oils, sauces and seasonings in the right amounts at the right time. Induction heating takes the pot past 300°C in seconds for real wok-style cooking, and automatic cleaning gets it ready for the next dish.
Why kitchens use cooking robots
- Consistency: every dish follows the same recipe, so flavour and portion size stay the same from cook to cook.
- Labour: one person can run more than one machine, which helps with chef shortages and busy service.
- Speed: most dishes take around 3 minutes.

Choosing a cooking robot
- Batch size: 2 kg single-pot models suit restaurants and takeaways. The 7 kg MSS7K suits canteens, hospitals and central kitchens. The four-wok MSS400PRO cooks four 600 g dishes at once for fast a la carte service.
- Seasoning system: more liquid sauce lines and solid seasoning trays mean more of your menu can be fully automated.
- Power: all models need a three-phase supply connected by a licensed electrician.

Cooking robot FAQs
Can I program my own recipes?
Yes. RoboChef machines come with pre-set menus and let you create and save your own recipes, with cloud management for updating recipes across your machines.
What power do they need?
All RoboChef cooking robots run on three-phase power, from 8.7 kW to 15 kW depending on the model, and must be connected by a licensed electrician.
How are they cleaned?
The pots are uncoated alloy, and the machines have automatic cleaning programs, a residue collection tank and an IPX5 waterproof body.
