Why a dedicated pot washer?

Washing pots by hand is slow, hard work and the job staff like least. A pot and utensil washer has a much larger chamber than a dishwasher and more powerful wash pumps to blast baked-on food off pots, pans, oven trays, mixing bowls and gastronorm pans, then sanitise them with a hot rinse. It saves hours of labour every week and frees your sink for prep.

How to choose a pot washer

Size

Choose the machine by the largest item you need to wash, such as oven trays, GN 2/1 pans, sheet pans or stock pots. The Madison IM65 suits busy restaurants and cafes, the IM85 steps up in capacity, and the IM1000 has the largest basket in the Norris range for the biggest pots and heaviest loads.

Steam condenser

Pot washers produce a lot of steam when the door opens. The R models (IM65R, IM85R and IM1000R) include a steam condenser unit that minimises steam and condensation in the kitchen.

Ease of use

The Madison pot washers use simple push-button operation with a choice of quick cycles, so staff can load, press and walk away.

Power and plumbing

Pot washers are large machines with significant power and water requirements. Check the electrical requirements on each product page and plan water, drainage and power with your installer.

Pot washer FAQs

What is the difference between a pot washer and a dishwasher?

A pot washer has a much bigger chamber and stronger wash pumps for large, heavily soiled items. A dishwasher is built for plates, cups and cutlery.

Do I need the steam condenser model?

If your dish area is small, hot or poorly ventilated, a steam condenser model makes it far more comfortable to work in.

Do you deliver Australia-wide?

Yes. We deliver to every state by tailgate truck. Installation by a licensed plumber and electrician is required.
