Sammic SAS-6001 - Free Standing Cutlery Polisher, 8,000 Pieces per Hour
The SAS-6001 is a fully automatic free-standing cutlery dryer and polisher. Washed cutlery goes in wet and comes out dry and polished, without water spots, at up to 8,000 pieces an hour. It suits hotels, function and event venues, clubs, large restaurants and catering kitchens that turn over a lot of cutlery. Compared with the benchtop SAM-3001 it has a much higher output, a motor brake and a bigger charge of polishing product.

Good to know before you buy:
- Power: plugs into a standard 10 amp power point.
- Polishing product: the machine uses an organic polishing compound that Sammic rates for up to 200 hours of operation. Refills are a Sammic accessory; ask us for a price.
- Delivery: delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Check doorways and floor space for a 630 x 800 x 783 mm unit, about 130 kg.
Compare similar models:
- SAM-3001: the benchtop model, up to 3,000 pieces an hour, 43 kg, with 3 kg of polishing product supplied.
- SU-750BC DD: a 3-phase pot and utensil washer for big pots and trays; it washes, where this machine dries and polishes.
Common questions:
Does it wash the cutlery?
No. It is for cutlery that has already been through your dishwasher. It takes the wet cutlery, dries it and polishes off the spots, ready to set tables.
Can it be moved around?
At 130 kg it is heavy to shift by hand. Sammic offers an optional front wheel kit; ask us if you want one added to your order.
What happens to the polishing product at the end of the day?
After you finish using the machine it runs a drying cycle on the polishing product and then stops by itself, which Sammic says helps the grains last longer.
