The Williams Glass Chiller GC1UGD is a one-door under-counter chiller designed and built in Australia to bring beer glasses down to serving temperature fast, so every pour goes into a properly cold glass. It holds +1°C to +4°C in rooms up to 40°C, takes three standard glass baskets on two plastic-coated shelves, and plugs into a 10 amp outlet. The GC1UGDSL is the spring-loaded version, which lifts the basket stack as glasses are taken; the GC15UGD takes larger 500 x 500mm baskets; and the GC1RGD is the remote cabinet for venues with a central condensing unit.

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: the self-contained unit is 1021mm wide, 600mm deep, 845mm high on castors and weighs 100 kg. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, so check the path to the bar.
- Power: plugs into a standard 10 amp power point.
- Baskets: glass baskets are not included. The shelves take standard 355 x 355mm or 355 x 431mm baskets, three per door.
- Remote version: the GC1RGD is supplied without a condensing unit. It is fitted with the evaporator, TX valve, controller, plug, junction box and condensate drain, and needs a condensing unit sized for 570 W at -5°C SST on R448A. Your refrigeration mechanic supplies, sizes and installs the condensing unit, pipework and controls (solenoids not supplied). Williams can advise on sizing. We supply the equipment only.
- What it is for: this is a glass chiller, built to chill glassware. It is not designed as a food storage fridge.

Common questions:
Shelf load or spring load, which should I choose?
The GC1UGD has two adjustable shelves, so staff slide baskets in and out by hand. The spring-loaded GC1UGDSL has a lifting mechanism that raises the stack of baskets as glasses are taken, so the next clean glass is always at the top. Both take the same baskets.
Does it come on legs or castors?
Both. It arrives on 120mm castors, and a set of 150mm adjustable legs is packed loose inside the unit if you would rather mount it on legs.
Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. The self-contained GC1UGD plugs into a 10 amp outlet. The remote GC1RGD must be connected to a condensing unit by a licensed refrigeration mechanic in your area.

Warranty: Williams 24-month parts and labour warranty on the self-contained GC1UGD, from the date of invoice, carried out by Williams authorised service agents on the Australian mainland. The remote GC1RGD carries 12 months parts only. Warranty repairs must be logged with Williams first.
