The Norris BT600 AWC is an Australian-made pass-through dishwasher that runs on just 15 amps of single-phase power, so you can have a hood type machine without a three-phase supply. Built in Norris's Caves Beach factory, it cleans up to 600 plates an hour on 1, 2 or 3 minute cycles, with automatic detergent and rinse aid injection. It suits cafes and restaurants, including those in residential-zoned premises, where power is limited; the three-phase BT700 and BT2000 offer more output.

Good to know before you buy:

• Power: Norris describes the BT600 as a plug-into-the-wall pass-through on 15 amps. Your electrician should confirm you have a suitable 15 A outlet and circuit.
• Water and drain: it needs a hot water supply and a gravity drain, connected by a licensed plumber. If your drain point is higher than the outlet, ask us about the optional Norris drain pump. We supply the equipment only.

Common questions:

Do I need three-phase power?
No. The BT600 runs on 240V at a maximum of 15 amps, which is what makes it unusual for a pass-through dishwasher.

Can it go in a corner?
Yes. Norris lists corner and in-line positioning for the BT600.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected by a licensed plumber in your area, and your electrician should confirm the power supply.
