The Norris CafeMate AWC is an Australian-made underbench dishwasher for cafes and small restaurants, built in Norris's Caves Beach factory. It cleans up to 600 plates an hour and takes plates up to 30cm, with a standard pump-out drain and automatic detergent and rinse aid injection. Its point of difference from the CafeMaster AWC is a separate rinse pump, which keeps the rinse constant regardless of your incoming water pressure.

Good to know before you buy:

• Power: Norris specifies a 15 amp power point on a dedicated circuit. Have a licensed electrician check your supply.
• Water and drain: it needs a hot water supply held at 50–65°C at the machine, plus a drain within 1 metre, connected by a licensed plumber. We supply the equipment only.

Common questions:

CafeMate or CafeMaster?
Both are Australian-made, 595mm wide and clean up to 600 plates an hour. The CafeMate adds a separate rinse pump, which helps if your water pressure varies.

What does AWC mean?
Advanced Wash Control, Norris's electronic controller, which manages the cycles and the automatic detergent and rinse aid dosing.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected by a licensed plumber and a licensed electrician in your area.

Warranty: 2 years parts and labour, plus 5 years on the cabinet and control board, from Norris. Norris extends this to 5 years on the whole machine when Zexa ware-washing chemicals are used consistently (proof of purchase may be required). Exclusions apply.
