Skipio SRT25-2 - 2 Door Upright Refrigerator
With two half-height doors on a slim 640mm wide cabinet, the Skipio SRT25-2 lets staff open just the top or bottom section instead of the whole fridge. It stores 572 litres at 0°C to +8°C with fan-forced cooling, which suits cafes, bars and small restaurant kitchens. Choose it over the single door SRT25-1 when the fridge is opened constantly through service, or step up to the 1260mm wide SRT45-4 for double the space with four half doors.

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: at 1937mm tall and 850mm deep, measure doorways and stairwells before ordering. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises; moving it inside, up stairs or unpacking isn't part of standard delivery.
- Power: 10 A plug for a standard power point. Plug it directly into the wall rather than using an extension lead, as Skipio specifies.
- Airflow: leave at least 300mm between the top of the cabinet and the ceiling, because the condenser breathes out through the top.

Common questions:
Why choose two half doors instead of one?
You only open the section you need, which is handy when one person works the top shelves and another the bottom. Capacity is almost the same as the single door SRT25-1 (572 vs 574 litres).
How often does it defrost?
Defrosting is automatic. Skipio's manual says it usually runs 4 to 6 times a day, for 20 to 30 minutes each time.
Do the castors lock?
Yes. The rear castors have brakes, so the fridge stays put once it is in position.
