Turbo Air TBH-900 - High Bakery Display Fridge 900mm 340L
The TBH-900 is the narrowest of Turbo Air's tall "high bakery" cases, putting a 1910 mm high refrigerated display into a 900 mm wide footprint. It holds 340 litres at 3°C to 8°C, which suits a café or bakery that wants to build its cake and pastry display upwards rather than along the counter. Staff serve through sliding rear doors. Unlike the lower TBP cake cases, which run on R290, the TBH range uses R404A refrigerant.
Key features:
- Tall 1910 mm serve-over display case in a 900 mm width
- 340 litres of refrigerated display space
- Sliding rear doors for staff access
- 3 shelves giving 4 display levels (Turbo Air catalogue)
- Holds 3°C to 8°C with fan-forced cooling
- Digital temperature control
- 1/2 HP compressor, 800 W, 4.0 A full load
- High-density polyurethane insulation (cyclopentane), CFC free

Good to know before you buy:
- Shelf layout: Turbo Air's catalogue lists 3 shelves (4 display levels) for every TBH size, while its price list describes the layout differently. If the number of tiers matters for your display, ask us to confirm before you order.
- Access: it stands 1910 mm high and weighs 200 kg. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, and standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside, so measure doorway heights and widths first.
- Power: Turbo Air lists 4.0 A full load on 220 V 50 Hz single phase. No plug type is stated in our sources, so check your power point before delivery.
- Airflow: keep the vents clear and leave room around the case, and avoid placing it right next to ovens or in direct sun.
Compare similar models:
- Turbo Air TBH-1200: the same tall case, 1200 mm wide, 470 litres
- Turbo Air TBP900-3-N: 900 mm wide cake case, 1570 mm high, 455 litres, R290 refrigerant
- Turbo Air TBP900-2-N: 900 mm wide cake case, 1370 mm high, 355 litres
- Turbo Air TBP900-1-N: 900 mm wide cake case, 1170 mm high, 255 litres
Common questions:
Should I choose the TBH-900 or a TBP900 cake case?
Choose the TBH-900 if you want the tallest display, at 1910 mm high. The TBP900-3-N is lower at 1570 mm but Turbo Air lists more capacity for it (455 litres against 340), and it uses R290 natural refrigerant rather than R404A.
Can customers open it?
It is a serve-over case. The sliding doors are at the rear, so staff serve from behind while customers view from the front.
Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. Our sources don't name a plug type, so check the spec sheet against your power point first. If anything needs changing, it must be done by a licensed electrician.
