The Turbo Air KSR24-4 is the longest salad prep fridge in the KSR range: 2400 mm of bench with four doors and 690 litres of storage underneath. It suits canteens, catering kitchens and busy salad bars that want one long, continuous prep line rather than two shorter units. Unlike the -N models in the range, it runs on R134a refrigerant, and Turbo Air's price list does not list the self-cleaning condenser for it. The top takes GN pans up to 150 mm deep, sold separately.

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: at 2400 mm long and 165 kg, this is a big unit to move. Walk the route to the kitchen, check doorways and corners, and have help ready. Turbo Air's product page lists the height as 860 mm including castors. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises; standard delivery does not include bringing it inside or unpacking.
- Power: plugs into a standard 10 amp outlet. Turbo Air's catalogue gives a 3.10 A full load current.
- Refrigerant: this model uses R134a, not the R290 used by the -N models.
- Airflow: it breathes at the front, so keep the front grille clear and free of dust.

Common questions:
Why does it use R134a when the others use R290?
The KSR24-4 has no -N in its model code. Turbo Air's current Australian price list shows it with R134a, while the -N models in the range use R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant.
Does it have the self-cleaning condenser?
Turbo Air's price list does not list it for this model, although it does for the -N models. Keep the front grille clear and dust-free so the condenser can release heat properly.
