About Modular Systems
Modular Systems is FED's range of stainless steel fit-out equipment for commercial kitchens, cafes, bakeries, schools and food factories. Benches come in 600mm and 700mm depths and in widths from 300mm to 2400mm, so a full run of benches, sinks and dishwasher benches can be lined up to suit the kitchen.
The premium /A benches are all 304 grade stainless steel, with a benchtop lined with XPS board and reinforced underneath, 42mm legs and adjustable disc feet. The economic benches pair a 304 grade stainless steel top with galvanised legs and undershelf for a lower price. Most benches and shelving come flat-packed with tools and instructions, while the kitchen tidy sink cabinets arrive pre-assembled with welded joins.

Modular Systems FAQs
What is the difference between premium and economic benches?
Premium benches (codes ending in /A) are all 304 grade stainless steel, including the legs and undershelf, with a reinforced, board-lined benchtop. Economic benches have a 304 grade stainless steel top on galvanised steel legs with a galvanised undershelf, which keeps the price down.
Do the benches come assembled?
Most benches, sinks and shelving are flat-packed with tools and an instruction manual for quick assembly. The kitchen tidy sink cabinets arrive pre-assembled.
Can I swap the undershelf for a leg brace?
On the premium benches, yes. A leg brace can be supplied instead of the undershelf at no extra cost. Just ask when you order.
Are taps included with the sinks?
No. Taps are sold separately.
What warranty does Modular Systems equipment have?
Most of the range has 2 years parts only. The exhaust hoods have 1 year parts and labour, and the JD-UC340 clearing trolley has 1 year parts only.
