Two doors of frozen storage in a metre of floor space: that is what the Williams Pearl LPR2SWHC offers kitchens that have outgrown a single-door freezer but cannot fit a 1225mm cabinet. It is built in Australia with two solid insulated doors, holds 750 litres at -18°C to -22°C in rooms up to 40°C, and plugs into a standard 10 amp outlet. The solid doors keep energy use to 10.25 kWh a day. There is no glass door freezer in the slim size, so this is the only slim two-door freezer in the Pearl range; the LPR2SSHC is the same cabinet in stainless steel and the HPR2SWHC is the matching fridge.

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: 2040mm high on castors, 1000mm wide, 720mm deep and 200 kg. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, so check doorway heights and the route to its final position. Lower castors (2005mm overall) and 150mm legs are options.
- Power: plugs into a standard 10 amp power point, drawing 2.9 A while running. No electrician needed.
- Airflow: a freezer sheds more heat than a fridge, so keep the top of the cabinet and the space around it clear.
- Drain: none needed. Defrost water is evaporated by the vaporiser.

Common questions:
Is there a glass door version of this slim freezer?
No. Williams makes glass door Pearl freezers in the single door (LP1GWHC) and 1225mm two-door (LP2GWHC) sizes only. The slim 1000mm freezer comes with solid doors.
Does it defrost itself?
Yes. Pearl freezers use electric auto defrost, and the vaporiser evaporates the water, so there is nothing to empty and no drain to connect.
Can I use it at home?
Williams builds the Pearl range for commercial use and does not warrant its cabinets in domestic applications, so it is not suited to a home kitchen or garage.
