Commercial upright fridges are perfect for saving space in your café, restaurant, supermarkets, bottle stores, convenience stores, mini-marts, and fuel stations. Glass door display fridges make it easy for you and your customers to see into the fridge before making a selection on what they wish to take out before opening the doors. This comes as a benefit of power saving costs to you, as there's no cold airflow drop out as soon as the door is open, and customers can make their selections quicker. They also offer a great display solution with LED lighting inside to showcase your products.

Solid door storage upright fridges are a great offering for cafes or businesses to use out the back of the house or in the kitchen to hold extra stock on hand. Solid door models are often more energy-efficient than glass door models, being manufactured in 304-grade stainless steel, which is an industry standard in commercial refrigeration.

Most solid door refrigerator models also accommodate Gastronome (GN) trays, making it very convenient to use your cooking trays in these types of fridges for baked goods, providing ample storage capacity.

Advantages of Having a Top Mount Refrigerator:

Having a fridge with the compressor motor on top of the system gives you the advantage of your top row of display being lower, making it easier for smaller customers to grab food items. Additionally, the doors are typically closer to the floor, providing increased litre capacities to the system. Another benefit is that the condenser won't get blocked up with dirt and dust as quickly as a bottom-mounted fridge.

Disadvantages of Having The Top Mount System:

In kitchens with commercial ovens generating a lot of heat in small areas, top-mounted fridges will work harder due to high ambient temperatures. If your kitchen faces these issues, you should consider a bottom mount system.

Advantages of Having a Bottom Mount Fridge:

The primary advantage of a bottom mount fridge is the cooler ambient temperature for the compressor, allowing it to work less hard and giving it a longer lifespan. However, it's essential to keep the condenser clean and free from dust build-up.

Disadvantages of Having a Bottom Mount Refrigerator:

The downside of a bottom mount fridge is the condensing system's susceptibility to accumulating dust and dirt from foot traffic or floor dust, which can quickly block up the condenser coil, leading to overheating or significant compressor damage. Thus, regular cleaning, ideally monthly, is necessary.
