The Baron Q90PCF/E801 is a heavy-duty electric range from the 900mm-deep Queen 9 line, with four large 300 x 300 mm square cast iron plates over an electric oven. It suits kitchens that cook all day on electricity and want a full-depth heavy-duty range, and the oven's top and bottom elements adjust independently, with a thermostat from 100°C to 300°C. It is the Queen 9 counterpart to the 700mm-deep Q70PCF/E800, which uses smaller 220mm round plates.

Key features:

Good to know before you buy:

• Power: 22 kW on a three-phase supply is a big electrical load. A licensed electrician must connect it and check your switchboard and supply. We supply the equipment only.
• Access: it weighs 173.2 kg packed and is 900mm deep. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises and doesn't include moving it inside, so plan the route and the help you'll need.
• Splashback: a 150mm-high, 800mm rear splashback (FC8) is listed as an optional extra.
