The B+S K+ KBT-SB6 is a 900 mm gas boiling top on a stand, with six 30 MJ open burners, for restaurants and takeaways with steady stovetop work and an oven elsewhere. It adds two burners and 300 mm over the KBT-SB4. The KBT-SB8 goes further with eight burners in 1200 mm.

How easy is it to keep clean?
The burners are removable two-piece units, and a rear splashback heat deflector and fat spillage tray come as standard. B+S also offers a spillage bowl as an extra.
One KBT-SB6 or a KBT-SB4 and a KBT-SB2?
Both give six burners across 900 mm. The KBT-SB6 is one 115 kg frame. The pair weighs 130 kg together and needs two gas connections, but each piece is easier to get through a tight door.
How do I move it for cleaning behind?
At 115 kg it is heavy, and castors are not standard. If you want to be able to shift it, ask about the non-swivel rear castors when you order.
