Not everything on your counter needs to be chilled. The ICS Pacific Novara 90A is an unrefrigerated (ambient) display cabinet for bread, pastries, biscuits, muffins and packaged treats, with triple-pane glass, internal LED lighting and large rear sliding doors for staff. At 900mm wide it is the compact model in the Novara Ambient range, giving 300 litres of display space on four lockable castors. It shares its look and size with the refrigerated Novara 90R, so the two can sit side by side.

Good to know before you buy:

• Not a fridge: this cabinet does not cool. For cakes, cream desserts or anything that must be kept cold, choose the refrigerated Novara 90R instead.
• Access: the cabinet is 900mm wide, 675mm deep and 1270mm tall, so check your doorways and corners. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside, up stairs or unpacking.
• Base panels: choose black or stainless steel when you order. Both are the same price.
• Power: the supplier documents don't list the electrical rating. Ask us if you need it confirmed before you order.

Will the Novara 90A keep cakes cold?
No. It is an ambient display with no refrigeration. It suits bread, baked goods and packaged food. For chilled display, look at the Novara 90R.

Can it be built into a counter?
Yes. ICS Pacific designed the Novara to work freestanding or built in, and the modular design lets several units line up as one display.

Which side do staff serve from?
The sliding doors are at the rear, so staff load and serve from behind while customers view through the front glass.
