Modular Systems 1800-6-DSBC - Economic Stainless Steel Double Sink Bench, Centre Bowls, 1800 x 600mm

Two large 600 x 400 mm bowls in the centre, with bench space either side, make the 1800-6-DSBC a good central wash-up station for a busy kitchen: scrape and stack on one side, wash and rinse in the middle, set down clean items on the other. At 600mm deep it fits a narrower kitchen better than the 700mm version. It comes from the Economic range, with 250 mm deep bowls, a 100mm splashback and a galvanised undershelf.

Good to know before you buy:

• Access: it comes flat-packed in a carton about 1870 mm long, 680 mm wide and 480 mm high. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises and does not include carrying it inside or unpacking, so plan to move it in and assemble it on site. Check doorways and tight corners on the way in.
• Water / drain: the bowls must be connected to water and drainage by a licensed plumber. We supply the equipment only.
• What's included: taps are not included, so allow for tapware to suit.

Common questions:

Do I need two bowls?
Two bowls let you wash in one and rinse or soak in the other, which is the usual set-up for washing up by hand. If you mainly rinse, fill and prep, the single-bowl Modular Systems 1800-6-SSBC is the same size and leaves more free bench.

How big are the bowls?
Each bowl is 600 x 400 mm and 250 mm deep. For deeper bowls, the Premium benches have 300 mm deep bowls, and the Modular Systems 770-6-SSB pot sink has a 450 mm deep bowl.

Does it arrive assembled?
No. The 1800-6-DSBC is flat-packed for self-assembly. The carton is about 1870 mm long, 680 mm wide and 480 mm high.
