Sammic SE-520 - Benchtop Chamber Vacuum Packer, 20m³/h Busch Pump
The SE-520 is the widest benchtop model in Sammic's Sensor line that we list, with a long 568 x 431 x 215 mm chamber and a 20 m³/h Busch pump. Choose two 420 mm sealing bars or one 550 mm bar when you order. It suits butchers, caterers and production kitchens packing larger cuts or several bags per cycle, and it still plugs into a standard power point. The SU-520GP is the same size with Sensor Ultra programs and gas flush.
Key features:
- 20 m³/h Busch vacuum pump, reaching a maximum vacuum of 2 mbar
- Long-shaped, deep-drawn stainless steel chamber, 215 mm high
- Vacuum controlled by sensor, with a display showing the exact vacuum percentage
- Vacuum PLUS gives up to 10 seconds of extra vacuum pull
- Pause button holds the vacuum stage to speed up marinating, curing and tenderising
- STOP button moves the cycle on to the next stage at any time
- Cordless sealing bars with two elements for a double seal
- Pulse-controlled decompression protects the product and the bag
- Damped clear methacrylate lid

Compare similar models:
- SU-520GP: same chamber and pump with Sensor Ultra controls; its single bar option is 555 mm.
- SE-420: same pump on a smaller 430 x 415 mm chamber with one 420 mm bar.
- SE-604: floorstanding, 40 m³/h pump, 672 x 481 mm chamber, 3-phase.
Common questions:
Will it pack liquids?
Yes. Sammic says its sensor control makes liquid packing safe, and it offers an optional support for liquid packaging. Ask us for a price.
Can it vacuum containers?
Yes. It is Vac-Norm ready with automatic decompression, so it works with Sammic Vac-Norm containers through the external vacuum kit, sold separately.
How do I look after the pump?
Run the dry-oil programme to dry the pump and clear impurities from the oil. The working hours counter tracks running time so oil changes happen on schedule.
