SCooker HLXCDN-C8 - 600mm Induction Wok Standard Ring 8kW
The SCooker HLXCDN-C8 is a 600 mm single induction wok with a standard ring and 8 kW of power, the most compact wok in the range. It suits a cafe, takeaway or small Asian kitchen that wants wok cooking in a tight space without a gas burner. The 800 mm HLXCDN-C12 takes the same 460 mm pan with 12 kW, so choose this one when width and power supply are the limit.

Good to know before you buy:
- Installation: needs a 3-phase 415 V supply (3P+E) and must be connected by a licensed electrician, to AS/NZS 3000. The water and waste lines need a licensed plumber. We supply the equipment only.
- Access: delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Check doorways for a 600 x 750 x 1300 mm unit, about 55 kg.
- Options: B+S also offers a 600 x 50 plinth kit, non-swivel rear castors (set of two) and coloured front and door panels in red or royal blue. Ask us for a price.

Common questions:
Can I use my own wok?
The 460 mm dual handle induction pan comes with it. The automatic detection system looks for suitable cookware, so check any other pan is made for induction and ask us if you are unsure.
Does it need a gas line?
No. It runs on power with a water inlet and a waste, so it can suit a site that has no gas available.
Standard or large ring?
This model has 350 mm glass and a 460 mm pan in a 750 mm deep body. The 700 mm HLXCDQ7-C12 has 400 mm glass and a 500 mm pan, but needs 900 mm of depth and runs at 12 kW.
