SCooker FAQs

Where is SCooker made and who backs the warranty?

SCooker equipment is made in Foshan, China, by SCooker. B+S Commercial Kitchens brings it to Australia and backs it with a 24-month parts and labour warranty, from the date of installation.

What power supply does SCooker equipment need?

Every SCooker appliance we list runs on 415 V 3-phase power, except the HLBWDN-B3 bain marie, which is 3 kW on 220 V single phase. B+S lists them as hard wired or plug and lead, and they must be connected by a licensed electrician, so have your electrician check the supply before you order. We supply the equipment only.

Should I choose an induction, infrared or solid plate cooktop?

Induction models have 3.5kW zones under microcrystalline glass, detect the cookware automatically, and have a display showing output power and cumulative energy use. Infrared models have 2.4kW zones under the same type of glass, with 200mm heating sections and the same display. Solid plate models have 190mm and 230mm cast iron plates, with zones of 2kW and 2.6kW, and a rotary knob with three power settings and indicator lights instead of a display.

Will SCooker units line up in a row?

The range has a modular design, and the cooktops, griddles, oven ranges, noodle and pasta cookers and infill benches are 750mm deep and 905mm high. Woks and the stock pot cooker are taller at 1300mm, and the large ring woks are 900mm deep, while the electric fryer is 1020mm high. Check the size on each product page when you plan your line.
