The Williams Quartz Star HQS3GSHC puts 1500 litres of chilled display behind three triple-glazed glass doors in a stainless steel cabinet, which suits large delis, food halls, caterers and production kitchens that want to see stock and clean the cabinet hard. Made in Australia, it holds +1°C to +4°C, runs on R290 refrigerant and plugs into a standard 10 amp outlet. The refrigeration system is bottom-mounted in a removable cassette, keeping the cabinet to 2000mm high. Williams rates this three-door glass model for rooms up to 38°C. The HQS3GWHC and HQS3GBHC are the same fridge in white or black Colorbond, and the HQS3SSHC has solid stainless steel doors.

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: the cabinet is 1845mm wide, 745mm deep and 2000mm high on its castors, and weighs 300 kg. It arrives by tailgate truck at the front of your premises and standard delivery does not include carrying it inside, so plan the route and the people to move it.
- Power: standard 10 amp plug with a 2 m cable. No electrician needed.
- Airflow: the cassette breathes through the grille at the base of the cabinet. Keep it clear and leave a little room around the sides.
- Finish: the rear and underside are not stainless steel as standard. A stainless steel rear and underside is an option.

Is 38°C enough for my site?
For shops, cafes and air-conditioned kitchens, yes. If the cabinet will stand in a hot cooking area, the solid door HQS3SSHC is rated for 43°C.
What does the "HC" at the end of the model code mean?
Hydrocarbon. The HQS3GSHC runs on R290, a natural refrigerant with a very low global warming potential.
Can I get it on legs instead of castors?
Yes. The threaded castors can be changed over to 150mm adjustable legs, which adds about 50mm to the overall height on Quartz Star models. Ask us for details.
