Williams Quartz Star HQS3SSHC - 3 Door Stainless Steel Upright Storage Fridge 1845mm 1500L
Three solid doors, 1500 litres and a stainless steel finish: the Williams Quartz Star HQS3SSHC is the biggest storage fridge in the Quartz Star range, built in Australia for hotel, club, catering and production kitchens that need plug-in bulk refrigeration that can take the heat. It is rated for room temperatures up to 43°C, holds +1°C to +4°C, runs on R290 refrigerant from a standard 10 amp outlet, and keeps its refrigeration system in a removable cassette at the base. The HQS3SWHC is the same fridge in white Colorbond, and the HQS3GSHC is the glass door display version.

- Access: the cabinet is 1845mm wide, 745mm deep and 2000mm high on its castors, and weighs 300 kg. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises; standard delivery does not include bringing it inside, so plan the route and the people to move it.
- Power: plugs into a standard 10 amp outlet with a 2 m cable.
- Airflow: keep the grille at the base of the cabinet clear so the cassette can breathe, and leave some room around the unit.
- Finish: the rear and underside are not stainless steel as standard; a stainless steel rear and underside is an option.

Common questions:
What is the difference between the Quartz Star and the Pearl?
Both are Australian-made Williams uprights. The Quartz Star has its refrigeration in a removable cassette at the bottom of the cabinet; the Pearl is top-mounted. Capacities and sizes are similar.
Can I run it in a 43°C kitchen on a normal power point?
Yes. It is rated for 43°C rooms and draws 3.8 A in normal running from a standard 10 amp outlet.
Can I use it at home?
No. Williams builds these cabinets for commercial use and does not warrant them for domestic applications.
