Williams Topaz Cake Display HTG18HC - 2 Tier Plus Base Free Standing Refrigerated Cake & Food Display 1800mm
The Williams Topaz Cake Display HTG18HC is the widest cabinet in the Topaz display range: 1800mm of heated double-glazed glass with two adjustable shelves plus the base, giving a bakery or large cafe three long, LED-lit levels for cakes, pastries, sandwiches and drinks. It is a refrigerated display holding +2°C to +8°C in a 38°C, 65% humidity environment, served from argon-filled sliding doors at the rear, and it still runs on R290 natural refrigerant from a single 10 amp plug. The taller HTGH18 adds a third shelf in the same width.
Key features:
- Three display levels: two adjustable shelves plus the base deck
- Heated double-glazed glass on the front, top and both sides; top and front glass mitre-joined as a single piece
- Argon-filled, double-glazed Low-E rear sliding doors with a heated frame and magnetic catch
- LED strip lighting under each shelf and under the glass top
- Two-piece white frosted polycarbonate shelves rated to 40 kg each
- Electronic controller with two digital temperature displays
- On/off switches for lights and heated glass on the rear
- Rear ventilation and an easy-clean condenser behind a removable rear vent
- Auto defrost using a waste heat recovery vaporiser, so no drain is needed
- Supplied on castors; R290 natural refrigerant

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: 1800mm long and 300 kg, crated for shipping, and Williams notes a forklift is required for handling. Our carrier delivers by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Make sure the doorway and the path to the counter can take the crate, and have enough people to uncrate it and roll it in on its castors.
- Power: standard 10 amp power point, 2 m cable, 6.0 A while running. Give it a dedicated outlet.
- Airflow: rear breathing, so leave a gap behind the cabinet and keep the rear vent clear.
- Loading: let it pull down to temperature before loading, and spread heavy trays across the shelves rather than stacking one end.
Compare similar models:
- Williams HTGH18: the taller 1380mm version with three shelves plus base (R448A refrigerant)
- Williams HTG15HC: same format, 1500mm wide
- Williams HTG12HC: same format, 1200mm wide
- Williams HTG9HC: same format, 900mm wide
Common questions:
Is it refrigerated across the whole 1800mm?
Yes. One refrigeration system in the base cools the full cabinet, with ducted air across all three levels, and the controller shows the temperature on two digital displays.
Can I keep cream cakes in it on a hot day?
Yes. Williams rates the cabinet for a 38°C, 65% humidity environment while holding +2°C to +8°C, and the heated glass keeps the display clear in those conditions.
Do you install it?
Nothing to install. Uncrate it, roll it into position with a gap at the rear and plug it into a 10 amp outlet. We supply the equipment only.
