Williams Topaz Cake Display HTG9HC - Two Tier (Plus Base) Free Standing Refrigerated Cake Display 900mm

The Williams Topaz Cake Display HTG9HC is the smallest cabinet in Williams' value cake and food display range: 900mm wide, 1200mm high, with two adjustable shelves plus the base deck, giving three lit display levels for cakes, slices, sandwiches and drinks. Heated double-glazed glass on the front, top and both sides keeps the view clear, and staff serve from sliding glass doors at the rear. It holds +2°C to +8°C in a 38°C, 65% humidity environment and plugs into a 10 amp outlet on R290 natural refrigerant. For an extra shelf, the taller HTGH9HC has three shelves plus base in the same width.

Key features:

  • Three display levels: two adjustable shelves plus the base deck
  • Heated double-glazed glass on the front, top and both sides to minimise condensation; the top and front glass is a single mitre-joined piece
  • Double-glazed, argon-filled Low-E rear sliding doors that catch back on a magnetic strip to stay closed
  • LED strip lighting under each shelf and under the glass top
  • Two-piece white frosted polycarbonate shelves, each rated to hold up to 40 kg
  • Electronic controller with two digital temperature displays
  • On/off switches for the lights and heated glass at the rear, within easy reach of staff
  • Rear ventilation with an easy-clean condenser behind a removable rear vent
  • Auto defrost using a waste heat recovery vaporiser, so no drain is needed
  • Supplied on castors; R290 natural refrigerant

Good to know before you buy:

  • Access: Williams packs this cabinet in a crate for shipping and notes that a forklift is needed to handle it. Our carrier delivers by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, so arrange enough people to uncrate 220 kg and roll it inside on its castors. The crate will be larger than the 900 x 680 x 1200mm cabinet, so check your doorway.
  • Power: standard 10 amp power point, 2 m cable, 4.0 A while running. The heated glass and lights add to the load, so give it its own outlet.
  • Airflow: it breathes through the rear, so leave a gap behind the cabinet and keep the rear vent clear and clean.
  • No drain: defrost water is evaporated using waste heat from the refrigeration system.

Common questions:

Which side do staff serve from?
The rear. Customers look in through the front and side glass, and staff slide the rear glass doors open to reach product. The doors are double glazed and catch on a magnetic strip so they stay shut between serves.

Why is the glass heated?
Cold glass in a warm, humid cafe fogs up. The front, top and side panels are double glazed with a heating film, and the rear door frame is heated too, so the display stays clear. You can switch the heating and lights off at the rear.

Do you install it?
No installation is needed. Uncrate it, roll it into place, leave the rear vent clear and plug it into a 10 amp outlet. We supply the equipment only.
