Williams Topaz Cake Display HTGH12HC - Three Tier (Plus Base) Free Standing Refrigerated Cake Display 1200mm
The Williams Topaz Cake Display HTGH12HC gives a 1200mm wide cafe counter four lit display levels: three adjustable polycarbonate shelves plus the base. It is the tall 1380mm, 800mm deep version of the HTG12HC, so it carries noticeably more product in the same width. Heated double-glazed glass on the front, top and sides stays clear in a humid shop, staff serve through argon-filled sliding doors at the rear, and the cabinet holds +2°C to +8°C in a 38°C, 65% humidity environment. It uses R290 natural refrigerant and runs from a 10 amp plug.
Key features:
- Four display levels: three adjustable shelves plus the base deck
- Heated double-glazed glass on the front, top and both sides, with the top and front mitre-joined as one piece
- Double-glazed, argon-filled Low-E rear sliding doors with a heated frame and magnetic catch
- LED strip lighting under every shelf and under the glass top
- Two-piece white frosted polycarbonate shelves rated to 40 kg each
- Electronic controller with two digital temperature displays
- Rear-mounted on/off switches for lights and heated glass
- Rear ventilation and an easy-clean condenser behind a removable rear vent
- Auto defrost with a waste heat recovery vaporiser, so no drain is needed
- Supplied on castors; R290 natural refrigerant

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: it arrives crated, and Williams notes a forklift is required for handling. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises; you will need several people to uncrate 270 kg and roll it in on its castors. Measure the doorway for the crate and the 1380mm cabinet height.
- Power: standard 10 amp power point, 2 m cable, 6.0 A while running. Give it a dedicated outlet.
- Airflow: rear breathing. Leave a gap behind the cabinet and keep the rear vent clean.
- Depth: at 800mm it is 120mm deeper than the standard-height models, so check the counter line and walkway behind it.
Compare similar models:
- Williams HTG12HC: the 1200mm high version with two shelves plus base
- Williams HTGH9HC: same tall format, 900mm wide
- Williams HTGH15: same tall format, 1500mm wide (R448A refrigerant)
- Williams HTGH18: same tall format, 1800mm wide (R448A refrigerant)
Common questions:
Why two temperature displays?
The controller shows two digital readings, so staff can see the cabinet temperature at a glance without opening the rear doors.
Can I turn the heated glass off?
Yes. The lights and the heated glass each have an on/off switch at the rear of the cabinet, so you can turn them off overnight.
Do you install it?
No installation is needed beyond uncrating, positioning with a gap behind and plugging into a 10 amp outlet. We supply the equipment only.
