Product details

Anvil ICD3500 - Double Induction Cooker 3.5kW

The Anvil ICD3500 puts two separately controlled induction plates into one slim stainless steel unit just 300mm wide and 65mm high, with the plates one behind the other. The front plate runs from 500 to 1800W and the back plate from 500 to 1700W, so you can sear on one while simmering on the other. It suits cafes, food trucks, buffet stations and small kitchens that need two cooking zones on a 15 A plug.

Good to know before you buy:

  • Power: it needs a 15 A power outlet, which is different from a standard 10 A outlet. If you don't have one, a licensed electrician can install it. We supply the equipment only.
  • Cookware: induction only works with magnetic-based pots and pans. Test yours with a fridge magnet on the base.
  • Weight limit: ICE lists a maximum load of 15 kg, so it isn't meant for large, heavy stockpots.

Compare similar models:

  • Anvil ICK3500: single 250mm cooking circle, 3.1 kW, 30 kg load
  • Anvil ICL3500: single large 290mm plate for big pots, 3.5 kW, 40 kg load
  • Anvil ICK2400: single induction cooker on a 10 A plug, 2.4 kW
  • Anvil STA0002: double solid-plate boiling top that works with any pots, 3.2 kW

Common questions:

How much power does each plate have?
Each plate is controlled separately. The front goes from 500 to 1800W and the back from 500 to 1700W, which together add up to the unit's 3.5 kW rating.

What plug does it need?
A 15 A plug and outlet. ICE lists it at 3.5 kW and 15 A.

Will my pans work?
Only magnetic-based cookware works on induction. If a magnet sticks firmly to the base, it will work.

Warranty: 12 months, back to base, covered by ICE, Anvil's Australian distributor. Back to base means the unit goes back to ICE for any warranty claim.
