If you want maximum chilled display in a 1200mm space and don't need a lightbox, the Bromic GM1100 is the one to look at. Its two double-glazed Low-E glass doors open onto 1126 litres, held at -1°C to +5°C, and the cabinet is rated for rooms up to 43°C. It uses just 3.54 kWh a day for an 8-star GEMS rating. Pick black (GM1100B-NR) or silver (GM1100S-NR); the GM1100L adds an illuminated lightbox on the same width.

Good to know before you buy:
- Colour: the two models are identical apart from the finish. GM1100B-NR is black and GM1100S-NR is silver.
- Special order: Bromic supplies the silver GM1100S-NR to order. Ask us about timing before you order.
- Access: at 2095mm tall and 195 kg (2120mm and 210 kg packed), measure doorways and ceiling heights before delivery. It comes by tailgate truck to the front of your premises; standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside, up stairs or unpacking.
- Floor space: allow 1303mm of depth in front of the wall for a door to open fully.
- Power: standard 10 amp outlet. With a 1 m cord, the power point needs to be close to the back of the fridge.
