Turbo Air KR25-1-N - 1 Door Upright Fridge 640mm 574L
The Turbo Air KR25-1-N is a single-door stainless steel storage fridge for kitchens that need real capacity without giving up much floor space: 574 litres in a cabinet only 640 mm wide. It holds 1°C to 8°C with fan-forced air, draws 2 A at full load on a standard 10 amp plug, and Turbo Air lists its energy use at just 1.65 kWh per 24 hours. Want to see stock without opening the door? The KR25-1G-N is the glass door version, and the KR25-2-N splits this cabinet into two half doors.
Key features:
- 574 litres behind one full-height solid door, in a 640 mm wide footprint
- 3 adjustable heavy-duty (50 kg) PE-coated wire shelves
- Holds 1°C to 8°C, with fan cooling to circulate cold air evenly
- Digital temperature control and monitor system. Turbo Air says it was the first company to apply digital control to commercial refrigerators, in 1997
- Patented self-cleaning condenser: a rotating brush sweeps away dust 2 to 3 times a day
- Turbo Cooling & Freeze to pull the temperature down quickly after restocking
- Top-mounted refrigeration unit, 1/3 HP compressor, R290 natural refrigerant
- Stainless steel inside and out, with a recessed easy-grip handle and magnetic door gasket
- No extra drain needed, and castors for easy cleaning

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: 640 mm wide and 1926 mm high on castors, 77 kg. Turbo Air quotes the depth as 860 mm (its price list prints 850 mm), so allow for 860 mm. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises and doesn't include bringing it inside, up stairs or unpacking, so check your doorways.
- Power: standard 10 amp outlet, 220–240 V single phase, 2 A at full load.
- Airflow: the refrigeration unit sits on top, so leave space above the fridge and don't use the roof as storage.

Common questions:
Solid door or glass door: which uses less energy?
On Turbo Air's figures, this solid door model uses 1.65 kWh per 24 hours, compared with 2.59 kWh for the glass door KR25-1G-N. Choose glass only if you need to see stock at a glance.
Will it fit a small kitchen?
At 640 mm wide it takes up little wall space. Allow for its 860 mm depth plus room to open the door, and keep the top clear because the refrigeration unit is mounted there.
Do you install it?
There's nothing to install. Plug it into a standard 10 amp power point; Turbo Air's condensate system means no extra drain is needed. We supply the equipment only.
