B+S Black CBR-9 - 900mm Gas Char Broiler on Stand

The CBR-9 is a 900mm wide gas char broiler with three 34 MJ U-burners on a stainless steel stand with an undershelf. It suits restaurants and hotel kitchens that grill through a long shift and want separate heat across the grates. It sits between the CBR-6 and CBR-12, and there is a bench mounted CBR-9BM if you do not need the stand.

Good to know before you buy:

• Gas type: choose Natural Gas or LPG when you order, to match your gas supply.
• Installation: gas appliances must be connected by a licensed gas fitter, to local regulations and under a suitable exhaust canopy. We supply the equipment only.
• Access: delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Check doorways for a 900 x 840 x 1030 mm unit.
• Options: B+S also offers non-swivel rear castors (set of two) and a 900 x 50 mm plinth kit. Ask us for a price.

Common questions:

Should I choose this or a grill plate?
This cooks on open cast iron grates with radiant hoods underneath. The GRP-9 is the same width with a solid 20 mm thick steel plate, so it comes down to the food you cook most.

Does it need a power point?
No. It needs a gas connection only, and the burners light by piezo ignition to the pilot.

Can it go next to a boiling top?
The BT-SB6 on stand has the same 900 mm width, 840 mm depth and 1030 mm height, so the two sit in line along a wall.
