The GRP-12 is the largest B+S Black grill plate, 1200mm wide on a stand with an 1195 x 550 mm cooking area. It suits a high volume breakfast, burger or hotel kitchen where the plate is the main cooking surface. It has four 22 MJ burners and a 20mm thick plate. The GRP-9 has the same plate thickness in a 900mm frame.

Good to know before you buy:

• Gas type: choose Natural Gas or LPG when you order, to match your gas supply.
• Installation: gas appliances must be connected by a licensed gas fitter, to local regulations and under a suitable exhaust canopy. We supply the equipment only.
• Access: delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Check doorways for a 1200 x 840 x 1030 mm unit.
• Options: B+S also offers non-swivel rear castors (set of two), a 1200 x 50 mm plinth kit, and a chrome plated grill plate for this size. Ask us for a price.

Common questions:

Should I choose this or the grill plate and char broiler combination?
Choose this one if all your cooking is on a flat plate. The BT-GRP6-CBR6 gives you half the plate, in a 16mm thickness, and uses the other half for a char broiler.

Can I cook different foods across the plate?
Yes. There is 1195mm of plate with a burner under each 300mm section, and each of the four burners has its own multi-setting gas valve.

Is there a version with an oven underneath?
Not in this width. The widest all grill plate range with an oven is the OV-GRP9, at 900mm.
