The GRP-12BM is the largest bench mounted grill plate in the B+S Black range, the same 1200mm wide, 20mm thick plate as the GRP-12 in a 425 mm high frame with no stand. It suits a high volume kitchen with a long run of bench and no need for an undershelf. The cooking area is 1195 x 550 mm, heated by four 22 MJ burners.

Good to know before you buy:

• Gas type: choose Natural Gas or LPG when you order, to match your gas supply.
• Installation: gas appliances must be connected by a licensed gas fitter, to local regulations and under a suitable exhaust canopy. We supply the equipment only.
• Access: delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Check doorways for a 1200 x 840 x 425 mm unit.

Common questions:

What size bench do I need?
The unit is 1200 mm wide and 840 mm deep, so you need a bench that takes that footprint, with the 425 mm unit height clear under your canopy.

Can I cook different foods across the plate?
Yes. There is 1195mm of plate with a burner under each 300mm section, and each of the four burners has its own multi-setting gas valve.

One GRP-12BM or two GRP-6BM units?
Both take 1200 mm and carry the same gas rating. The GRP-12BM gives one unbroken 20mm plate. Two GRP-6BM units give two separate 16mm plates and need two gas connections, but each piece is easier to lift onto a bench.
