The K+ KGRP-6 is a 600 mm gas grill plate on a stand, for the grill section of a cafe or restaurant. Two 22 MJ/h tube burners run under a 16 mm mild steel plate with 595 x 550 mm of cooking area. Compared with the 300 mm KGRP-3 it has twice the area and a thicker plate, while the KGRP-9 and KGRP-12 go wider again if you grill in volume.

Good to know before you buy:

• Gas type: choose Natural Gas or LPG when you order, to match your gas supply.
• Installation: gas appliances must be connected by a licensed gas fitter, to local regulations and under a suitable exhaust canopy. We supply the equipment only.
• Access: delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Check doorways for a 600 x 840 x 1030 mm unit, about 90 kg.
• Options: B+S also offers non-swivel rear castors (set of two) and a bench mounted version. Ask us for a price.

Common questions:

Is one KGRP-6 better than two KGRP-3s?
Both give about 600 mm and 44 MJ/h. The KGRP-6 gives you one unbroken plate that is 16 mm thick rather than two 12 mm plates, and it weighs 90 kg rather than 100 kg in total.

Will it line up with other K+ units?
Yes. It is 840 mm deep and 1030 mm high, the same as the K+ boiling tops and char broilers on stands, so they can sit in one line.

Can I move it to clean behind?
The optional rear castors are non-swivel and come as a set of two, which makes it easier to pull the unit forward. Your gas fitter can advise on the right gas hose set-up for a unit that moves.
