When you have a long wall and plenty of depth, the 2400-7-WBB gives you the biggest work surface in FED's economic splashback range: 2400mm by 700mm. It suits a main prep line in a restaurant or a production area in a bakery or catering kitchen, with a 1.2mm 304 grade stainless steel top rated to 400kg, a 100mm splashback, a galvanised undershelf and six height-adjustable galvanised legs.

Good to know before you buy:

• Access: it comes flat-packed in a carton about 2420 x 720 x 130 mm, delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Standard delivery does not include carrying it inside, up stairs or unpacking, so check your doorways, corridors and any tight corners.
• Materials: the top and splashback are 304 stainless steel, while the legs and undershelf are galvanised steel. If you want stainless steel throughout, look at the premium Modular Systems benches.

FED describes it as flat-packed for easy self-assembly. With six legs and a 2400mm top, allow two people for the job.

Why choose this over two shorter benches?
One 2400mm top gives a continuous surface with no join for food or liquid to drop through. If you need flexibility instead, the 1200mm benches in the same range can be placed side by side.
