Santos #32 - Automatic Orange Juicer, Benchtop, 100L/h

The Santos #32 is a fully automatic orange juicer that cuts, squeezes and ejects whole oranges, about 20 a minute, for at least 100 litres of juice an hour. Load around 10 kg of oranges into the hopper and it runs continuously, which suits juice bars, hotels, fast food outlets and busy cafes. This benchtop version drops the peels through a cut-out in your bench into a container below; the #32T is the same juicer on a stainless steel stand with its own peel bin.

Good to know before you buy:

• Power: plugs into a standard 10 amp power point.
• Bench cut-out: this model sits on your bench and ejects the peels through a cut-out into a container under the counter. Plan the cut-out and bin space before it arrives, and ask us for Sammic's cut-out details.
• Delivery: delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Check doorways and bench space for a 410 x 620 x 1020 mm unit, about 65.5 kg, and have enough people on hand to lift it onto the bench.

Common questions:

Can it take small oranges?
It accepts oranges from 60 to 90 mm across as standard. Santos makes a special adaptor for small oranges from 40 to 70 mm, available on order, so ask us if your fruit runs small.

How do I adjust the squeeze?
Turn the upper squeezers to change the squeezing pressure. Santos describes it as a simple rotation, so you can fine tune it to the fruit you are using.

How do I clean it?
The knife, lower squeezers and ejectors come out, and Santos supplies a 5 litre water sprayer with the juicer to rinse it down.
