The Santos #52G is a motorised citrus juicer that you work by hand: press each fruit half onto the turning squeezer and the juice runs out of a high spout. Three removable squeezers cover limes, lemons, oranges and grapefruit, and it produces about 40 litres of juice an hour, which suits cafes, restaurants, bars and juice bars. It is the entry model in the range: the #70 adds a lever and automatic start and stop for about 50 litres an hour, and the #32 squeezes whole oranges automatically.

Common questions:

Do I need to peel the fruit?
No. Cut the fruit in half and press it onto the matching squeezer. There is no need to peel it first.

Hand operated or lever, which suits me?
The #52G suits steady, moderate squeezing where staff press the fruit themselves. If someone will squeeze for long stretches, the #70's ergonomic lever does the pressing and gives a little more output.

How do I clean it?
All parts in contact with the fruit lift off: the dome, squeezer, grid and bowl. That makes it quick to wash at the end of the day.
