The Santos #37-2I is a heavy duty kitchen blender with a 2 litre stainless steel jug and Santos's patented Santosafe locking system, which holds the jug and lid in place while it runs so staff can work hands free. It has the same commercial motor, blades and footprint as the 4 litre #37-4I, with a smaller jug. It suits restaurants, cafes, hotels and catering kitchens that blend often but in modest quantities. The brushless #66 and #62 are built for drinks rather than kitchen prep.

Common questions:

Should I choose the 2 litre or the 4 litre jug?
Both use the same base, motor and controls. The only difference is the jug. A 2 litre jug is easier to handle for frequent small batches; choose the #37-4I if you regularly blend soups or sauces in larger volumes.

Can I blend hot preparations?
Yes. Santos says the #37 mixes all kinds of hot and cold preparations, so soups and sauces are fine as well as cold blends.

Which speed should I use?
Santos's speed guide runs from agitating and mashing at the low end, through whipping and mixing, to grinding and liquefying near 15,000 rpm. Use the pulse setting for short bursts at full power.
