The SCooker DLZS4N-C9D2 is a four plate solid electric cooktop for cafes and restaurants that want cast iron plates with simple knob control. It is 800 mm wide, with two 2.6 kW and two 2 kW zones for 9.2 kW in total. It doubles the DLZS2N-C4D6, and the DLZSJ4N-C14D2 puts the same four plates over an oven in the same footprint.

Good to know before you buy:

• Installation: must be connected by a licensed electrician, to AS/NZS 3000. It needs a 3-phase supply. We supply the equipment only.
• Access: delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Check doorways for an 800 x 750 x 905 mm unit, about 60 kg.

Common questions:

Should I get the version with the oven?
The DLZSJ4N-C14D2 takes the same floor space and adds a GN 1/1 oven. It weighs 110 kg against 60 kg here, and draws 25 A per phase against 18.2 A, so check your supply first.

Solid plate or induction?
The 800 mm induction top draws 14 kW and has 3.5 kW zones, a variable power knob, a display and cookware detection. This solid plate top draws 9.2 kW and keeps to cast iron plates and three power settings, with no glass surface.

Are all the hot plates the same size?
No. The cast iron plates come in two diameters, 190 mm and 230 mm, so you can match each one to the pan you are using.
