The SCooker HLPP8N-C9 is an 800 mm induction griddle with a 20 mm smooth steel plate and 9 kW of power, a good fit for a busy breakfast or burger line. It has 50 per cent more power than the 600 mm HLPP6N-C6 and a 680 mm wide plate. The 900 mm HLPP9N-C9 has the same 9 kW with 100 mm more plate.

Good to know before you buy:

• Installation: needs a 3-phase 415 V supply (3P+E) and must be connected by a licensed electrician, to AS/NZS 3000. We supply the equipment only.
• Access: delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Check doorways for an 800 x 750 x 905 mm unit, about 120 kg.
• Options: B+S also offers an 800 x 50 plinth kit, non-swivel rear castors (set of two), coloured front and door panels in red or royal blue and, on request, a chrome plated griddle plate or combined smooth and grooved plates. Ask us for a price.

Common questions:

Induction or the electric 800 mm griddle?
The DLPP8N-C9 has the same 680 x 440 mm plate, temperature range and 9 kW, but it heats with elements and is set with rotary knobs. This induction model gives you the variable power knob and the energy display, and weighs 120 kg against 110 kg.

Does it need a neutral?
No. It is wired 3P+E, which is three phases and earth with no neutral. The SCooker electric griddles are 3P+N+E, so mention this to your electrician if you are swapping one out.

Can I run a bench beside it?
Yes. The WT800D750 infill bench has the same 800 x 750 x 905 mm body, so the two sit flush in a line.
