Turbo Air KR65-3-N - 3 Door Upright Fridge 1900mm 1876L

When a two-door fridge isn't enough, the Turbo Air KR65-3-N steps up to 1876 litres behind three full-height solid doors in a 1900 mm wide cabinet. Nine adjustable shelves and fan-forced cooling at 1°C to 8°C suit restaurants, clubs, caterers and canteens that hold a lot of chilled stock. It runs on R290 refrigerant from a standard 10 amp plug, and Turbo Air lists its energy use at 3.84 kWh per 24 hours. For smaller openings on the same footprint, see the six half door KR65-6-N.

Key features:

  • 1876 litres across three sections, each with its own full-height solid door
  • 9 adjustable heavy-duty (50 kg) PE-coated wire shelves
  • Holds 1°C to 8°C, with fan cooling spreading cold air through the wide cabinet
  • Digital temperature control and monitor system. Turbo Air says it was the first company to use digital control on commercial refrigerators, in 1997
  • Turbo Cooling & Freeze runs the compressor continuously for up to two hours to recover after a big delivery
  • Patented self-cleaning condenser: a rotating brush clears dust 2 to 3 times a day
  • Top-mounted refrigeration unit with a 1/2 HP compressor and R290 natural refrigerant
  • Stainless steel exterior and interior, recessed easy-grip handles, magnetic gaskets
  • No extra drain needed; rolls on castors

  • Power: standard 10 amp plug, single phase, 3 A at full load according to Turbo Air's catalogue.
  • Airflow: keep the space above the cabinet clear for the top-mounted refrigeration unit.

Common questions:

What power supply does it need?
Just a standard 10 amp power point on 220–240 V single phase. Turbo Air's catalogue rates it at 450 W and 3 A at full load, so no three-phase supply is needed.

How quickly does it cool down after restocking?
Turbo Air doesn't publish a pull-down time, but the Turbo Cooling & Freeze function runs the compressor continuously for up to two hours to bring the cabinet temperature down quickly after you load new stock.

Is there a glass door version?
Yes, the KR65-3G-N. Turbo Air lists 6.21 kWh per 24 hours for that model against 3.84 kWh for this solid door one, so choose glass only if you need to see stock without opening up.
