HT Barnes was established by the Hall Brothers in Australia in 1945 and has become a familiar name in butcher shops across Australia and New Zealand. The company is still Australian owned and operated, and it works with WorkCover and Australian Standards so its machines meet current health and safety requirements.

HT Barnes bandsaws are built from 304 food grade stainless steel with brake motors and low voltage switching, and are designed to be simple to use and cost-effective to maintain. Customers include supermarket chains, wholesale and retail meat processors, butcher shops, restaurants, abattoirs and export establishments.
