The Anvil DSI0550 is the largest of Anvil's three DSI countertop ice cream displays: 1500mm wide with room for seven 1/3 size GN pans 100mm deep and 240 litres of capacity. It gives ice cream parlours, cafes and dessert counters a wide flavour range without a floor-standing cabinet, and ICE supplies seven clear polycarbonate pans. Heated front glass, auto defrost and LED strip lighting come standard, as on the smaller DSI0530 and DSI0540.

Good to know before you buy:

• Counter length and strength: you need at least 1500mm of counter that can carry 152 kg.
• Access: the packed unit is 1620mm long and 980mm high. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises; standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside, lifting it onto the counter or unpacking, so check doorways and arrange help.
• Overnight: ICE states it is not suitable for overnight storage, so you'll need a storage freezer for stock outside trading hours.
• Room temperature: rated for 30°C rooms. Keep it away from direct sun and hot equipment.

Common questions:

Does it come with pans?
Yes. Seven clear polycarbonate 1/3 GN pans, 100mm deep, are supplied.

Will it cope with a hot shopfront?
ICE rates it for room temperatures up to 30°C. In a hotter spot, or in direct sun, it may struggle to hold temperature.

Is it a floor-standing freezer?
No. It is a countertop unit, 790mm high, made to sit on a strong counter or bench.
