Gelaterias and dessert shops with a wide range of frozen cakes get more shelf width from the Bonvue FICL-840V. It is the 1200mm model of Bonvue's ice cream cake freezer, holding -16°C to -18°C with low-temperature air-curtain cooling. Heated triple-layer glass stays clear, every adjustable glass shelf is lit by LEDs, and insulated double doors at the back make restocking easy. It has the same 800mm depth and 1350mm height as the 900mm FICL-830V.

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: at 1200 x 800 x 1350 mm and 240 kg, this needs a clear path and several people to move. FED doesn't list a packed size, so allow extra for packaging. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises; standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside, up stairs or unpacking.
- Power: rated at 1.7kW with a 10 A plug. As it is a fairly large load, give it its own power point rather than sharing a double adaptor.
- Airflow: the front panel and rear grille vent heat, so don't push it hard against a wall or block the front.
- Room conditions: rated for up to 32°C and 60% humidity.

How is the FICL-840V different from the FICL-830V?
It is 300mm wider (1200mm against 900mm) and draws 1.7kW instead of 1.24kW. Both hold -16°C to -18°C and share the same glass, lighting and rear doors.
Is it for scooping gelato?
