Anvil TSA1009 - Sandwich Press, Flat Plates
The Anvil TSA1009 is a straightforward flat-plate sandwich press for cafes, delis and takeaways. Its cast aluminium plates give a 330 x 355mm cooking area, and the adjustable lid stops thick sandwiches and focaccias from being squashed. It also grills burgers and tomatoes. If you want heavier cast iron plates with a spring-loaded top, look at the Anvil TSS panini presses.

Good to know before you buy:
- Power: runs on 240V power and is rated at 2.2 kW. ICE doesn't list a 15 A requirement for this model.
- Bench space: allow room above for the lid to open, and keep it clear of anything that can't take heat.

Are the plates ribbed or flat?
Both plates are flat cast aluminium.
Will it squash a thick focaccia?
No. The lid is adjustable, so it sits at the right height for thicker sandwiches and focaccias.
Can I get a Teflon sheet for it?
Yes. ICE offers a Teflon sheet and clips set to suit (XTSA9999). Ask us for a price.
