The Baron SEF2/2 is a fixed-height electric salamander with a 600 x 350 mm cooking area and two independently controlled heating zones, so you can heat the whole grill or just one side for smaller orders. The chrome-plated grids sit at two heights, and the back panel lifts off so it can work as a pass-through salamander between the kitchen and the pass. At 790mm wide and 390mm high it is lower and wider than the adjustable SE60/0CB, and it runs on 230V single-phase power at 4 kW.

Good to know before you buy:

• Power: it needs a 20 amp single-phase supply, more than a standard 10 amp power point. A licensed electrician must provide the circuit and make the connection. We supply the equipment only.
• Pass-through use: if you plan to use it open at the back between kitchen and pass, allow clear access on both sides.
• Access: only 22 kg packed, delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises.

Common questions:

What does "fixed height" mean?
The heating elements don't move. Instead, the chrome-plated grid can be set at two different heights to bring food closer to or further from the heat.

Can I heat just half of it?
Yes. It has two heating zones with independent knobs, controlled by energy regulators.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected by a licensed electrician in your area.
