Product details

Benchstar HCW-4 - Dual Zone Heated Counter Warmer, 4 Pans

The Benchstar HCW-4 is a 1219mm dual-zone hot food display that holds 2 pans on the top shelf and 2 on the bottom. The top zone uses dry heat to keep chips, chicken and other fried food crisp, and the bottom zone uses humid heat to stop pies and pastries drying out. Clear flip doors give customers a front-facing view while staff load from behind, and the digital display helps you monitor that food stays above 60°C. It is rated at 4080W and hard-wired to a 240V supply.

Key features:

  • Dual-zone holding: dry heat on the top shelf, humid heat on the bottom shelf
  • Holds 2 top pans and 2 bottom pans
  • Clear see-through flip doors with front display and rear loading
  • Digital temperature display, range +30°C to +85°C
  • Automatic water refill with manual bypass, plus a drainage pipe for wastewater
  • Float switch prevents heating when the water level is low
  • Shelf spacing of 325mm upper and 390mm lower
  • Bottom-access mica heaters, independent lighting switch, all stainless steel

Good to know before you buy:

  • Power: it is hard-wired, so it must be connected by a licensed electrician on a suitable 240V circuit. We supply the equipment only.
  • Water and drain: the humid zone uses an automatic water refill and a drainage pipe. Any water supply or drain connection must be made by a licensed plumber.

Common questions:

Can I plug it in?
No. At 4080W it is hard-wired, so a licensed electrician must connect it. The smaller HCW-3 runs on a 15 A outlet.

Which foods go on which shelf?
Put fried foods on the dry-heat top shelf to keep them crisp, and pies and pastries on the humid bottom shelf to keep them moist.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected by a licensed electrician, and any water or drain connection made by a licensed plumber.
