B+S Black CBR-12 - 1200mm Gas Char Broiler on Stand

The CBR-12 is the largest B+S Black char broiler, with four 34 MJ U-burners across 1200mm on a stainless steel stand with an undershelf. It suits a steakhouse, large restaurant or hotel kitchen where the grill is the main station. It has the same burner and grate design as the smaller CBR-3, CBR-6 and CBR-9, with one burner for each 300mm of width.

Good to know before you buy:

• Gas type: choose Natural Gas or LPG when you order, to match your gas supply.
• Installation: gas appliances must be connected by a licensed gas fitter, to local regulations and under a suitable exhaust canopy. We supply the equipment only.
• Access: delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Check doorways for a 1200 x 840 x 1030 mm unit.
• Options: B+S also offers non-swivel rear castors (set of two) and a 1200 x 50 mm plinth kit. Ask us for a price.

Common questions:

One CBR-12 or two CBR-6 units?
The burner count and gas load are the same, at 136 MJ/h on natural gas. One CBR-12 is a single long grill to place, while two CBR-6 units split the job and are easier to get through a narrow door.

Stand or bench mounted at this size?
The stand gives you a 1030 mm high unit with an undershelf. The CBR-12BM is 525 mm high and sits on your bench, and it weighs 190 kg, so the bench has to take that.

Can I move it for cleaning?
Non-swivel rear castors are an optional extra, sold as a set of two. Check with your gas fitter how the connection should be set up if the unit will move.
