The Fagor FMD-2301A is a single-door dry ageing cabinet for butchers, steakhouses, delis and restaurants that want to age meat, salami or cheese while showing it off to customers. It holds anywhere from 0°C to +20°C in 0.1°C steps, with humidity adjustable from 60% to 90%, and heated double glazing keeps the view clear. At 862mm wide and 2300mm tall with 605 litres inside, it is the single-door version of the 1697mm wide FMD-2302A.

Good to know before you buy:

• Access: the cabinet is 2300mm tall and FED lists the packed height as 2685mm, at 284 kg. It ships in two sections: the cabinet body and a removable top section that holds the complete refrigeration unit. Check doorways, ceiling heights and your route inside. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. We supply the equipment only.
• Power: it runs on 240V single-phase power, rated at 10 A.
• Drain: no drain connection is needed, as defrost water evaporates automatically.
• What's included: the decorative plinth is included. Shelves and hooks are ordered separately and come unassembled.

Common questions:

What colour and layout is it?
Fagor makes these cabinets in black or grey (other colours on request), in wall or central configurations. FED's spec sheet shows a black, wall-type unit with the door hinged on the left. Ask us to confirm the finish and layout before you order.

Does it come with shelves or hooks?
No. Shelves and hooks are ordered separately. Fagor's accessories include perforated meat shelves, bars, hooks and pink salt. Ask us for prices.

Does it need a drain or water connection?
No. Defrost water goes into a tray and evaporates automatically. It just needs a 240V, 10 A power supply.
